People often tell us that their dog does all the obedience commands perfectly, but they also say they have no control over their dog when it matters or when it gets aggressive. The problem is one of communication. You are talking, but your dog is not listening. 95% of the problems people have with their dogs are about relationships out of whack and inconsistent communication in the household. Communication is the key to dog owners controlling their animal's instincts and genetics. It is important to calm your dogs' mind so you and your dog(s) can hang out together without all the yelling and constant correcting of inappropriate behavior.
We are primarily behavior trainers. What that means is that you are going to learn how to communicate with your dog, how to get your dog to communicate with you and to listen when you speak. Once you have that you can do any other training you want and get brilliant results.
What makes our program a lot different is that it is mostly about the people. Who you are to your dog is what matters most. Respect and trust are paramount. What we do is more about who you are to your dog versus how much time you spend on training and conditioning. Our approach to training a dog is based on respect and trust. This means that acquiring the good things in life often requires effort, resolve and character, and not just effective techniques. Who you are to your dog is everything. When the relationship is right, all things are possible. It's all about being part of something really great.

By fostering rescue dogs in our homes, the fosters of Tucson Cold Wet Noses get to know each dog’s personality, likes, dislikes, and little quirks so you don't go home with a cat chaser if you have 10 cats at home, or an ankle biter if you babysit your grandchildren every day! Fostering our rescue dogs helps to ensure a successful adoption based on your lifestyle and situation. A successful adoption is a perfect match for both the new family and the dog. |
