ASK THE TRAINER

Jamie Robinson is the owner/operator of Seize the Leash. She is an eclectic dog trainer who uses the best training and/or behavior techniques and practices to assist you in teaching your dog. It is her belief that a dog should learn in a positive fashion as this yields the best outcomes resulting in a well-trained, good mannered and obedient dog. If you would like to ask Jamie a question please see below. If you would like to read previous questions and answers please click here.

Your Name
E-Mail*
Phone Number
Dog(s) Name
Dog(s) Age*
Dog(s) Breed/Mix*
Is your dog(s) Neutered* Yes     No
How long have you
had your dog(s)?

What is your question? Please be as detailed as possible to get a useful answer from the trainer. For instance, if you have two dogs who are fighting, please be so specific that you list the time of day, the number of stitches needed (if they were needed), what you did to break it up, what happened just before the fight started, etc. Without that detail, it will be difficult to give you an answer that you can use to resolve the problem.

Fosters Urgently Needed

Please contact Terri to foster a wonderful rescued dog from Pima County Animal Care Center. Health dogs are just waiting for their forever homes. Email us or call 235-6309 and ask about our foster to adopt program. If you are ready to start fostering now, please fill out our Foster Care Application and we will contact you right away

By fostering rescue dogs in our homes, the fosters of Tucson Cold Wet Noses get to know each dog’s personality, likes, dislikes, and little quirks so you don't go home with a cat chaser if you have 10 cats at home, or an ankle biter if you babysit your grandchildren every day! Fostering our rescue dogs helps to ensure a successful adoption based on your lifestyle and situation. A successful adoption is a perfect match for both the new family and the dog.

We always have a need for volunteers to help with special events, setting up and tearing down adoptions weekends, transporting dogs to and from PACC and the vet, and working with behaviorally challenged dogs at behavior class. If you are ready to start volunteering now, please fill out our Volunteer Application and we will contact you right away
