Dogs Who Need A Foster
Sprite My husband Jack and I are Sprite’s current fosters. She is an amazing dog. Smart, pretty, loving, and sociable. She’s treat motivated and learns quickly and eagerly. She has no bad habits at all, no jumping, no barking, no separation anxiety, no digging, no bathroom accidents, she is quite literally the perfect dog. Her one and only issue is her inter-dog skills. Because she’s still having difficulty even after an extended adjustment period, Terri thinks she will do better in a foster home as an only pet.
If you’ve ever thought about fostering, Sprite would definitely be the perfect dog to start with. As an added benefit, Sprite will make you feel safe when you’re home alone. She alert barks appropriately, but never over barks or barks at nothing. She is the perfect early warning system for her humans. She has the beautiful habit of sensing where the ingress and egress is and placing herself across the threshold as your personal gatekeeper. She does this in the backyard as well. She’s smart and instinctive and a joy to have around.
If we didn’t already have two dogs we have made a lifetime commitment to, Sprite would have a home with us for life.
