Dogs Who Need A Foster
Bo is a very sweet dog to people. I have held warm compresses on his wounds and cleaned them, and all did was lick my hand. Not a flinch, whine or growl. When he gets his insulin, he does not even move or make a sound.
What Bo is not good with is other animals. I have watched him the last few days and he has a laundry list of things going on. He is diabetic, his liver is bad, he wants to be close (or at least be able to see you), he is food aggressive, animal aggressive (he picks & chooses somehow) and he is a resource guarder (to me tonight). He needs someone who lives in a house, not an apartment, because he can be vocal. He also can climb, jump and squeeze through small spaces.
I am putting all of his faults out in the open, because I know there is someone out there, who wants a Cocker Spaniel mix and does not have or want any other animals. Someone who wants a best friend to hang out with.
Bo will be under Tucson Cold Wet Noses as a long term foster dog. Bo needs a committed and understanding, long term foster home. He needs a foster who will be in it for the long haul. He needs to recoup, he needs to work on issues, he needs to be the only animal in the house. He needs someone who will understand that even though he needs help, he is a great boy underneath all of his problems.
